Chelsea and Cecily are generally your first point of contact with Ultimate Kitchens & Bathrooms. They meet with prospective customers in our Burke Road showroom, discussing initial ideas and answering questions about design, materials, colours and our process to deliver a finished product to you. You are never left in the dark – once a project is up and running, Cecily and Chelsea are able to update clients on a daily basis about progress of the work and what each customer can expect to happen next. Having renovated two houses of her own, Cecily is very sensitive to the whole client experience. She has a passion for interior design – especially kitchens and bathrooms – and has worked in the industry for five years, starting out as a kitchen designer. She greatly enjoys the diversity and pace of her role, and the variety of people she meets and interacts with.

With a Diploma of Interior Design & Decoration and a Bachelor of Design (Interior and Exhibition Design), Chelsea has 13 years’ experience in the kitchen and bathroom industry across a variety of roles including in the tile industry, colour consulting work, and setting up new and refurbished Reece stores Australia wide.  At Ultimate, Chelsea similarly enjoys the variety her job brings, and transforming a 2D floor plan into a 3D presentation for new clients.

Jeff Richards Jeff Richards
Director, Designer and Registered Builder

As a member of the HIA and Cabinet Makers’ Association, and a Registered Builder, Jeff has spent 40 years in the building industry, the latter half of which have been in the design and construction of bathrooms and kitchens. As such he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as a Designer and the Manager of Ultimate Kitchens & Bathrooms.Jeff’s passion for good design, his structural knowledge, and his determination to overcome design challenges to maximize the final outcome for clients, are the driving forces behind every job he undertakes. Creating individual designs that make the best possible use of the space and that are both practical and beautiful, he enjoys the fact that every project is unique, as every client has individual requirements and visions. For him the challenge of clever design, often thinking outside the square, means that the finished product is one that delights his clients – and to him that is very satisfying.

Beata Brzozowska Beata Brzozowska
Senior Designer

Beata has 13 years’ experience as a kitchen and bathroom designer and has twice been awarded Designer of the Year. In that time she has created over 4000 kitchens and bathrooms in Melbourne and surrounds, and travels every two years to Milan to keep up with the latest in international design trends. Beata enjoys seeing the finished product of her designs come together and the happiness this brings her clients.

Deborah Hurley Deborah Hurley
Senior Designer

With a passion for interiors that began with a Diploma of Interior Design & Decoration, Deborah joined the team at Ultimate in 2017, bringing with her over 12 years in the industry – creating beautiful spaces, consulting for award-winning home builders and specialising in kitchen and bathroom design. She has received several design awards and enjoys traveling to Eurocuccina in Milan to stay abreast of the latest design trends and innovations. Deborah loves seeing the transformation of a client’s space and the joy it brings.

Eugene Lombard Eugene Lombard
Senior Designer

With over 10 years’ design experience, and an Advanced Diploma in Building Design and Certificate IV in Building, Eugene has a passion for design and spaces and for bringing his clients’ visions into reality. His background in engineering shows in the workflow and layout of his designs as well as in his meticulous attention to detail. He has designed kitchens for reality television shows and leans towards a very Eurocentric design ethos, enjoying attending European design expos.

Suzzanne Blades Suzzanne Blades
Senior Designer

Suzzanne’s career path started at Swinburne University studying graphic design, which eventually lead her to becoming a professional caterer and event planner, and has now given her a seamless segway into the world of kitchen design.
There’s no doubt that having the experience of working professionally in many domestic kitchens has given Suzzanne a truly in depth perspective into the design and function of a modern family kitchen.
Her experience gives her a compressive understanding of the practical/functional requirements, which leads to intelligent and elegant kitchen design. Suzzanne feels it is vital to seamlessly merge the original kitchen space with the new, and has a clear understanding of family work flow having raised two children herself. Suzzanne’s kitchen designs are highly considered and reflect her clients individual requirements and life style.

Over the years she has had the responsibility of being owner builder on three of her own renovations, all of which required new kitchens both commercial and domestic. These experiences have given her a hands-on insight into communicating with a wide range of trades people.

In her spare time you may find Suzzanne entertaining at home with family, on the tennis court

John Matkowsky John Matkowsky
Construction Manager

Joining our team in 2017, John has over 30 years’ experience in the building industry, mostly in kitchens and bathrooms. Initially a cabinet maker by trade, with a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, he has owned and managed a manufacturing and installation business for over two decades. An HIA member and Registered Builder, John loves interacting with clients and tradespeople and, like Brad, is responsible for scheduling and managing the building process on our renovation projects.

Tim Binmore Tim Binmore
Project Manager

Tim greatly enjoys interacting with and helping people, and after years of running his own construction business his love of all things building led him to undertake a Diploma in Building and Construction to further his expertise. With 20 years of experience behind him Tim has amassed a vast knowledge of home renovation. He has spent the last 10 years as a carpenter and supervisor for a number of high-end builders, renovating the kitchens and bathrooms of some of the finest homes in Melbourne and Geelong.

Adrian Fernando Adrian Fernando
Project Manager

Adrian is a Licensed Builder with a Certificate IV in Building and Construction and has worked in the industry for the past 12 years with experience across all aspects of renovations. With his keen eye for detail he has provided training and mentoring to staff in previous project management roles. Adrian is driven by wanting his clients to be more than satisfied with their renovation – he wants them to be thrilled with the end result.

Samantha Lamers Samantha Lamers
Accounts Manager

Samantha manages our accounting systems, including client contracts and payments. She has several qualifications across payroll administration and bookkeeping and 15 years’ experience in payroll and accounts. Samantha’s eye for, and appreciation of, accuracy means she enjoys the detailed nature of her work. She also likes the challenge of implementing continual improvement in accounting processes, and applying her knowledge and experience to keep up to date with the ever-changing legislation in her field.

Ron has 30 years’ experience in the industry, initially as a qualified cabinet maker (including production management and technical detailing) but for the last decade in bespoke kitchen design. He holds a Diploma in Building, Design and Drafting. At Ultimate Kitchens & Bathrooms Ron enjoys the challenge of turning our design team’s visions into accurate and detailed drawings for our manufacturing and onsite build- and trade-works. Ron’s eye for detail and his technical and management experience give our company the best start in delivering your job on time and with the minimum of fuss.

Andrew Prandolini Andrew Prandolini
Technical Detailer

Andrew has always had a passion for furniture and interior design, and enjoys working within a highly professional team environment to prepare the detailed plans and design documents for our clients’ exciting projects. He has 10 years’ experience in commercial joinery and furniture manufacturing and has also worked as an architectural draftsperson, product manager and cabinet maker. Andrew has a Diploma in Furniture Design and a Certificate III in Cabinet Making, and has designed and made furniture for the Forge Theatre and Arts Hub as well as many residential clients.

Technical Detailer

With an Advanced Diploma in Building Design and a Certificate IV in Building, April creates 2D images to accurately convey a designer’s ideas to the client, and enjoys then refining them to perfection. She is interested in the creation of beautiful and efficient spaces for clients’ everyday lives, and the variation and detail of utility spaces and how people use them based on their different personalities, cultures and lifestyles.

Technical Detailer

As a Technical Detailer, Eric is part of our team drawing up the highly detailed plans and thorough specifications that our tradespeople rely on to create beautiful new spaces for our clients. Eric’s versatility has seen him working in various sectors, from the caravan industry to large councils. He is always ready to try new challenges and seeks to carry out tasks to perfection, making him a valuable addition to the detailing team. Eric has a Certificate IV in Building Design.
